A few days ago I talked about creating friction for bad habits.
The exact opposite applies to the good habits you would like to repeat more often.
One way of reducing friction is to anchor these habits to stuff you already do. For example:
Perform some calisthenics or stretches every time you boil the kettle.
Spend 5 minutes meditating as your morning coffee brews.
Install a pull up bar in your garage and perform some reps everytime you go in.
Build a walk into your morning commute.
Stand up and move during phone conversations.
There will be many more!
What anchors can you use to seamlessly include more fitness-building activity into your day?
