Spiced Chocolate Smoothie

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 200ml unsweetened almond milk

  • 80g frozen banana

  • 1-2 tsps cocoa powder

  • 25g vanilla or chocolate flavour whey or plant-based protein powder

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp ground or grated nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • A very small pinch of ground cloves (optional)

  • A sprinkle of grated dark chocolate

Nutrition

  • Per Serving: 265 Calories, 32g Carbs, 23g Protein, 5g Fat

Preparation

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender jug

  • Blend well until creamy

  • Serve topped with the grated chocolate
