Ingredients List (Serves 1)
A large handful of mixed lettuce leaves
A handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
100g smoked peppered mackerel fillet
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
10g pecan nuts
¼ tsp sea salt
2 tsps balsamic vinegar
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:
Assemble the lettuce, tomatoes, and mackerel in a bowl
Place a small frying pan over a medium/low flame
Add the cumin seeds, pecans and salt
Toast gently, stirring occasionally until fragrant
Sprinkle the toasted mixture over the salad
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar and oil over the top and serve
