Choc Chip Protein Bars

Ingredients (Makes 6 Bars)

  • 60g oats (use gluten free if preferred)

  • 30g vanilla flavour whey or plant-based protein powder

  • 100g nut butter of your choice

  • 30g honey or maple syrup

  • 20g dark chocolate chips

Nutrition

  • Per bar: 192 calories, 10g protein, 11g carbs, 12g fat

Preparation

  • Line the base of a small baking tin or loaf tin with baking paper.

  • Place the ingredients in large bowl, except for the chocolate chips.

  • Stir well until combined.

  • Add a drop of cold water and stir again until the mixture is slightly sticky.

  • Add the chocolate chips and stir well.

  • Pour into the tin and press down firmly to compact the mixture.

  • Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.

  • Cut into 6 bars.
