Confession time!
I’ve been a personal trainer for nearly fifteen years now. Yet up until recently I never really liked running.
A rugby injury followed by several rounds of knee surgery didn’t help.
Furthermore I always thought there were more efficient ways to exercise.
Like resistance training!
And while that maybe so I’ve recently been getting back into some longer distance running, speaking to lots of friends about it, reading loads of books and well... I’ve had my head turned.
Efficiency isn’t everything!
There is something about the physical challenge and mental exhilaration running provides which is hard to replicate across other forms of exercise.
It does more than simply build fitness.
So I created a Beginner Running Plan to merge the two worlds.
Efficient, effective resistance exercise coupled with relaxed, inclusive running for a healthy body and happy mind.
