Ingredients (Serves 1)
60g jumbo oats (use gluten free if preferred)
150ml unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
60g sweet apple, finely chopped
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tsps tahini (optional)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
For the toppings:
A handful of blackberries or blueberries
2 tsps maple syrup
A few slices of banana
1/2 tsp coconut flakes

Preparation
Place the milk and oats in a saucepan over a medium flame
Stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until thick
Add more milk during cooking time if the mixture becomes too dry
Add the apple, stir well and cook for 2 minutes
Turn off the heat and stir in the chia seeds and flaxseed
Leave to stand for 5 minutes
Stir in more milk if desired
Stir in the tahini (if using) and cinnamon
Add the toppings and serve
