One of my go-to habits for boosting dwindling energy levels is a low information diet.
Or more specifically a junk-information fast.
Social media feeds, clickbait articles, controversial comment threads. In a digital world it is so easy to let our attention get pulled left and right by a storm of pointless information.
We’ve all been there!
However, when we spend too long swimming in this addictive torrent of irrelevant updates there are negative repercussions. In the same way junk food clogs up our bodies, junk information clogs up our minds.
So if you are feeling mentally sluggish try…
Focusing on less information (goodbye social media)
Focusing on quality information (goodbye clickbait websites)
Focusing on slower information (choosing print over digital)
All good habits I’ve found for freeing up headspace and energy!
Try them and see :-)
