In the world of fitness this is like trying to improve our energy levels without first of all ensuring we are consistently getting a good night’s sleep. All the superfoods, smoothies and supplements in the world will count for little if our bodies natural cycle of rest and recovery is being abused.
When it comes to improving our health and fitness the internet has ensured we are swamped in minutiae when really most of us just need to reestablish some consistency with the basics... movement, real food, energy balance, relaxation, sleep. Hard to market and profit from this unglamorous message of course so don't expect the popular media headlines to jump on-board any time soon.
