Exercise just isn’t that great at burning calories.
Try running off 3500 calories (1lb of body fat) and you will see what I mean.
Its depressing, soul-sapping and terribly ineffective.
Much better to focus on the positive stuff which exercise is actually really good for.
Like increasing strength and fitness. Fortifying bones and connective tissues. Improving energy, vitality and longevity. Boosting brain health, mood and thinking.
Much more motivating!
