Enjoyable Exercise v Fitness Training

Many people think fitness training needs to be enjoyable.

I disagree.

Much like brushing your teeth it just needs to make the rest of your life better!

It’s also why I recommend keeping workouts extremely short and infrequent.

This leaves more time (and energy) for genuinely enjoyable exercise activities like hiking in the hills, playing with your family, spending hours in the garden, competing in social sports and mastering new skills like surfing, climbing and mountain biking!

Take home message:

Get fit in the simplest, safest and most efficient manner possible. Then enjoy this extra fitness by doing the physical activities and exercises which are important to you!
