There is nothing wrong with enjoying the occasional round of junk food.
It’s normal.
And can form part of a fun and healthy social life.
But do so in the awareness these foods are carefully engineered to light up the reward centres in our brain.
Which, coupled with the convenience of their consumption, can provide a sting in the tail.
In that we can easily start craving more of them!
The good news is the cycle can work in reverse too.
By including more nutritious foods in our meals we can start to crave the extra energy and healthy feelings these foods provide.
